In addition to being a great way to advertise our club while wearing aa lovely piece of art, this project will be a fundraiser. All you do is bring a light colored shirt to the meeting. The emblems cost $5.00 for a small and $10.00 for a large. The shirt will be returned to you at the next meeting with the emblem applied.

What a great show we have hanging at Ann Knob Center in Hollywood. I hope everyone has gone past or will be at the Reception for our show on March 12. What a fantastic show it is, Special Thanks to Bucky Halcome, Mary Tillotson,, Pete and Alice Greko, Caroline Ampuero, Beverly Berger, Adeline Stevens, Danny Alfano, Dottie Hutton, Renee Sands, Nelly Molina, Art Markley for all your hard work. Without them this event would not have happened.

We also Have a few members who have a show at the Cooper City Library for the Month of March, Carol Thaw, Alice Greko, Art Markley, Ann D’Angelo and Teresa Kirk. Hopefully everyone can get by to see that show and give them your support.

We all need to keep those Brushes moving as we are having our first show next season in October. You have plenty of time to do a couple just special for this show.

Because of budget and staffing issues, the Center where we hold our meetings, closes at 8:30 PM. Because of these time constraints, we have to sign in all entries for the Monthly members show by 6:30. No entries after 6:30 can be accepted, so please come early. Someone will be there ready to take your entry at 6:15. The meeting will start promptly at 6:30.
Thank you for your help and cooperation on this matter.

You can help.
It is important to us that our libraries have adequate display space It appears that the new Hollywood library is being built without display space. Voice your opinion to Sam Morrison, Director of Libraries, thru his email at morrison@browardlibrary.org.
Art Buddies

To help us grow in our art we are trying to organize a meeting in which we can bring paintings in to critique each other. This is a very good way to get feedback on where you may be going with a piece. Our next Art Buddies will meet Oct. 22 for those who are interested.

Last month Ramona Bryant, Dottie Hutton and myself met for about an hour and half looking and analyzing our work.
We got such Great feedback that we are really excited about next months meeting.
Hopefully more of you will be able to join us and share in this great learning opportunity for everyone.
Just bring a couple of paintings you would like to critique at 6:30.
Hope to see you there.
