About Caroline Ampuero – Graphic Artist, Web Designer & Watercolorist

Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art in Bilbao, Spain

Caroline Ampuero is an Arts and Technology Consultant with a degree in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Of her many assets, one is working well with people.  She looks to find the best in the people she works with, and when she discovers what the person does well, she ensures that they utilize those assets to get the best results. She is also an excellent public speaker, using this skill quite often as a teacher, technical support representative, and president of an organization.  Finally, she is a computer geek and artist, and in the past several years she has dedicated her efforts to providing avenues to herself.

Caroline’s work has lead her to many places. She met her husband in Washington DC while working at Hewlett Packard as a Technical Consultant on their UNIX Servers.  They moved to Florida after their first child was born and lived there for 11 years.  During that time she taught children and teachers about computers.  She also taught watercolors from her home, and did a great deal of volunteer work including being treasurer of the Chapel Trail Elementary School PTA with a budget of $100,000, and organizing and setting up the City of Pembroke Pines Local Art Show with over 100 vendors. Her husband then took an assignment in London, England where they lived for 3 years. There, she volunteered for a large expatriate organization first as Vice President of Information Technology, and then President of over 400 members.

Currently she resides in Medina, Minnesota with her husband and two daughters.  She stays busy with her home owners board, which she was nominated for, and with a local woman’s organization as Vice President of  Communications. Now she is looking forward to getting back into the work force, and she would like to be a web designer/developer where she can use her art knowledge and computer experience.
